Los Oasis Latin Grill and Cerveceria, serving South of the Border dishes inspired by the Oaxacan regions of Mexico, held its grand last month at the former Draft House site.
13th St. allows him to accommodate a variety of customers. By incorporating a boothed seating area between the dining room and bar, Hanna said he was able to give the dining area an intimate ambience while also catering to the bar crowd. "This location had a lot to do with my returning to Boulder," said George Hanna (owner), who was the opening general manager of Walnut Brewery and owned The Oasis on Canyon Boulevard for 12 years. Hanna is using the extra space as a micro-brewing area. He is currently offering his Cabo Gold beer, but plans to also make darker ales and lagers. Los Oasis serves appetizers, soups and salads ranging from $7-13 and entrees ranging from $18-27. "Our goal is to step it up to what is typically served in southern Mexico," he said.
